Coming home and Mt. Rushmore

We had a blast in North Dakota, but were ready to come home after our 3 week stay there. The ride home was less than fun with Adda screaming a good portion of the way, but we survived and made it all the way to St. George in two days. That is one drive I do not want to repeat...ever. Adda was a trooper, but her poor tiny body just didn't handle the ride very well. We took her to a chiropractor when we got back and after that she was our happy little girl again. On the first day of driving we made a pit stop at Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota because neither of us had been. I was SO impressed by it! Adda slept against my chest most of the time we were there, but she was happy to be out of the car seat for sure. We stayed the night at my aunt and uncle's house in Casper again and enjoyed some super yummy homemade ice cream. Thanks Craig and Jo Lynn for spoiling us! The second day we made a stop in Salt Lake to see my old co-workers at Myriad and in Provo to see our new apartment. We were debating whether or not to spend the night up north before heading to St. George because Adda was SO done being in the car. We decided just to push through though and get the driving done. Adda must have exhausted herself because she slept soundly the entire way to St. George basically. We were thrilled to not have a screaming baby for the last leg of our trip home. We spent a little over a week in St. George with family and friends before heading to Provo and back to real life.
The car is packed and we're ready to go!

This is exactly how she looked the entire hour or so we were at Mt. Rushmore

Such a kid at heart

My personal favorite part of Mt. Rushmore:)
