Our Little Contortionist...

Our little Adda is quite the flexible contortionist! She loves to twist and turn!

Happy Halloween!

I decided to be crafty and creative this year and make Adda's Halloween costume. I think all little babies should be pumpkins for Halloween so that's what Adda was. And, even if I do say so myself, she was the cutest dang pumpkin you have ever seen! I was quite proud of how cute her costume turned out. She had a blast trick-or-treating with some of her cousins too!

Poor Sicky...

Adda had a few weeks in late October where she was sick ALL the time! It seemed like just as she was getting over one thing she would hang out with cousins and catch the next. We don't mind terribly because we know it's building her immune system, but I sure felt bad for the little sicky. She was awfully cuddly though, which I definitely didn't mind.

25 Is SO Old...

When my birthday was coming up I really started to feel old. 25 seems so much older than 24 for some reason. I know I'm still relatively young, but it was kinda getting to me, especially since Jer kindly reminded me that it was a quarter of a century! But as I thought more about it I realized that for being 25 I sure have accomplished a lot. I am a semester away from getting my bachelor's degree in Biology, I served a mission for 18 months, I got married to my best friend, and I have a beautiful baby girl. I'd say it's been a pretty successful 25 years:-) I don't feel so bad about being "old" anymore. Bring on the next 25 years and all life has to offer!

Happy Birthday To Me...

I had a great birthday weekend with friends and family! First Cassidy and her kiddos came down to hang out with me during the day. It was so fun to spend the day with them. We met Jer for lunch at the duck pond and fed the ducks. Then we made banana bread...that was a total flop because I forgot a key ingredient, the baking soda haha. After they headed home Jer and Adda took me out to dinner to California Pizza Kitchen. Then we spent the rest of the night and the next day hanging out with Jer's family. On Sunday we had our good friends Tanner and Kilee over to play Just Dance:-) Such a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who helped me celebrate!

Little Addalynnes...

Funny story...
My MTC companion and I met up with each other for the first time since being separated in the airport on the way to the Philippines last May. We went to the farmer's market in Provo together when we were 7 and 8 months pregnant.  She was due in June and I was due about a month later in July. While walking around the conversation got around to our little girls that were on their way. I asked her what they were going to name their baby and she said "Addelynn". At first I thought that she was joking and that I must have mentioned to her that we were naming our little one Addalynne. Nope, she was serious and had no idea that we had picked out the same name. As unique as it is, we were both surprised that we had decided on the same name without ever talking to each other. Their baby girl was overdue and born on July 1st and ours was early and born only a week later on July 8th. It wasn't till October though that we got the little Addalynnes together to meet for the first time. Their Addelynn goes by her middle name Mae. Here they are though on the first day they met each other...

Witches Night Out...

The girls in Jeremy's family have a tradition of going to Gardner Village in Salt Lake during the month of October. They have a lot of fun Halloween stuff in the shops and have fun witches to find all over the village. Even though Jer is obviously not a girl, he tagged a long this year. We had a blast! Bay even talked me into getting a couple glitter tattoos to match her, Jess and Shellie. Adda loved hanging out with her cousins too!
