So this is like a month over due, but in case you haven't heard...KIMBER IS HOME! We were so excited to see her come off the plane on September 1st and spend most of the next week with her. She hasn't changed a bit:-) That's a good thing. I remember thinking when I was on my mission that my mission was for me...I was the one who needed me to go on a mission because I needed to change a lot to become the best me I could be. For Kimber I think her mission was more for the people she served because she was already such a great person when she left. I'm glad she came back the same Kimber as when she left. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures at the airport, but we did take some of the goodies she brought back from Argentina. Welcome home Kim, we're so happy you are back!

Coming home and Mt. Rushmore
We had a blast in North Dakota, but were ready to come home after our 3 week stay there. The ride home was less than fun with Adda screaming a good portion of the way, but we survived and made it all the way to St. George in two days. That is one drive I do not want to repeat...ever. Adda was a trooper, but her poor tiny body just didn't handle the ride very well. We took her to a chiropractor when we got back and after that she was our happy little girl again. On the first day of driving we made a pit stop at Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota because neither of us had been. I was SO impressed by it! Adda slept against my chest most of the time we were there, but she was happy to be out of the car seat for sure. We stayed the night at my aunt and uncle's house in Casper again and enjoyed some super yummy homemade ice cream. Thanks Craig and Jo Lynn for spoiling us! The second day we made a stop in Salt Lake to see my old co-workers at Myriad and in Provo to see our new apartment. We were debating whether or not to spend the night up north before heading to St. George because Adda was SO done being in the car. We decided just to push through though and get the driving done. Adda must have exhausted herself because she slept soundly the entire way to St. George basically. We were thrilled to not have a screaming baby for the last leg of our trip home. We spent a little over a week in St. George with family and friends before heading to Provo and back to real life.
The car is packed and we're ready to go!

Happy one month birthday to Adda!
Our little Addalynne turned one month old this week. I can't believe that a whole month has passed already! She is an angel and we are so grateful to have her. Here are some of our favorite things about our little peanut...
Mommy and Daddy love...
1. Middle of the night mommy-daughter time while feeding Adda. I love looking at her bright eyes in the middle of the night staring up at me.
2. Watching her wake up. She stretches and makes faces for a good 30 minutes sometimes before ever opening her eyes.
3. Cuddling. Adda is our little cuddle bug and we LOVE having her tiny body right up next to ours. We especially like when she sticks her bum up in the air and pulls her little legs in real close.
4. Her smiles. I know that people say she can't really smile yet, but even if they are "gas smiles" they make us smile.
5. Playing with her tiny fingers and toes while she eats.
6. Daddy-Adda time. Jer usually burps her after I feed her and then she'll fall asleep on his chest.
7. Wrapping her up in her towel after her bath. She isn't the biggest fan of the bath, but she sure calms down quickly when she's wrapped up in her towel and held close.
8. Her floppy head. She's getting pretty good at holding her head up, but she's still got some work to do and sometimes her little head just flops over.
9. Her itty-bitty little body. She is just so tiny and I love it! She especially looks tiny in her carseat or stroller and it is too cute!
10. The jokes she plays on us. She likes to pee on us while we change her diaper and poop 2 seconds after we change her diaper.
11. Playing "patty-cake" with her. She always starts to cry when Daddy plays "patty-cake" with her.
12. She has her daddy wrapped around her finger. He is a sucker and always picks her up when she's crying and let's her sleep on his chest instead of on her bed.
13. Talking for her. We like to imagine what she would say if she could talk and then say it for her. She usually has a bit of sass when her mom talks for her.
14. Her hugs. She wraps her little arms around us and holds onto our shirts while looking up at us with her beautiful bright eyes.

Cabin Fever
My family went up to our cabin the weekend before we headed out to North Dakota. We weren't sure if we would be able to go up with them because Adda was so young still, and we had so much to do to get ready to leave for a month. I'm so glad we decided to go up despite how busy we were though. It's alway fun to spend time at the cabin with family. We enjoyed playing ping-pong (or watching Cody play), eating yummy food, doing a craft, building a fire, and my personal favorite, roasting marshmallows! We didn't stay over night, but we sure had a good day up there. We look forward to going again when Kimber gets home!
Adda getting some Grandpa time
This was taken right before Adda decided it would be way fun to pee on Grandpa
Ry likes to pretend that she's shy and doesn't know you when you first see her
But eventually she warms up:) Jer had to bribe her for this hug though haha
If Jer gets a hug then Uncle Cody does too right?
Ry likes to see Adda's tiny little toes
PING PONG! Cody is practically professional
Jer and I are definitely not professional
The girls did a craft...
While the boys took a nap
I love to compare head sizes when Adda sleeps on our chests
Family pic:)
Watching Dad roast marshmallows was almost as fun as actually roasting the marshmallows
This was his greatest creation of the night...We bought the giant campfire marshmallows and Dad tried to stick a reeces peanut butter cup inside the partially roasted marshmallow and then roast it again. Needless to say it was entertaining although somewhat of a failure in the end
Jer likes to make banana boats and load them up with all the fixins
Mmmm!
